Why structure

Two places where good therapists lose good clients

Before the work starts

Your offer is hard to put into words, so you over-explain it. Your message tries to reach everyone, so it sounds like everyone else's. Clients compare you on price, and you charge less than the work is worth.

Your work is good. Your value is just invisible.

After the work starts

Sessions drift into the crisis of the week. Clients decide how often they come, and they cut back too soon. When the symptoms ease, they stop, often just before the deeper work begins.

Many did not leave because therapy failed. They left because they could not see their own progress.

Both problems have the same answer: structure. That is what these 12 weeks build.

The curriculum, phase by phase

Three phases, in order. Each one builds on the one before.

  1. Phase 1

    Attract

    Make your value visible

Phase 1 turns what you do by instinct into your own Restorative Model of Care, and points it at the clients you serve best.

    • Name your bullseye: the one big result you help clients reach, and the three inner shifts that make it last
    • Turn the points where clients get stuck into the active steps of your model
    • Define the two or three repeatable steps that show how your results happen
    • Present your model as one clear story that earns trust before you ask for a commitment
    • Run a first session that ends with the next session booked
    • Choose your best-fit clients with three filters: enjoyment, impact, and sustainability
    • Sum it up in a short pitch: who you help, how, and why your approach
You finish with: Version 1.0 of your model and a profile of your perfect future client.
  2. Phase 2

    Deliver

    Purpose, Prescribe, Progress

Your clinical skills are already there. Phase 2 gives every session three anchors, so the work moves forward instead of drifting.

    • Turn "I want to feel better" into specific goals you can both see
    • Use the Session Spine: open with progress, check in against goals, set an intention, close with takeaways
    • Prescribe session frequency as a clinical decision, with authority and kindness
    • Use the Dosage Ladder, with scripts for objections about time, cost, and feeling better
    • Make progress visible with the Three Rs: Recap, Remind, Recommend
    • Write short follow-up messages from your session notes, in your own voice
    • Use a treatment goal card, a cadence planner, a progress tracker, and a Three R email template
    • Fix the four habits that stall progress
You finish with: a repeatable structure for every session, and a checklist to review your outcomes, retention, and fulfilment.
  3. Phase 3

    Retain

Keep clients until the work is done

Relief is not the same as lasting change. Phase 3 builds retention into every session, so clients can see their progress and stay to finish the work.

    • Understand why clients leave early: surface relief, or a plateau read as failure
    • Prepare clients for plateaus before they happen, with an anticipation script
    • Move clients past the "false finish line" to lasting resolution
    • Keep goals alive with the Goal Anchor Method
    • Track progress in three steps: measure, review, and log
    • Open with a recap, connect to the bigger goal, close with a next step
    • Use future pacing to help clients picture the life they are working toward
    • Install your Retention Playbook, with an end-of-session checklist
You finish with: a retention system built on three questions. Did we make progress today? Are we on the right path? Do we both know what's next?

This is not about learning more. This is about building correctly.

Who it's for

Is this program right for you?

This is for you if...

  • You're a qualified therapist or counsellor who wants a practice that is financially sustainable
  • You're tired of feeling uncertain in consultations or uncomfortable talking about fees
  • You want a structured delivery model, not just a collection of techniques
  • You believe your clients deserve more than a session-by-session experience
  • You want clients to stay past the first relief, long enough for change that lasts

This is not for you if...

  • You're looking for a shortcut that bypasses the real work
  • You're not willing to examine how you show up in the business side of your practice
  • You want a generic business course with no understanding of the therapy world
  • You want a course to watch, not a practice to build
  • You want to keep trying to help everyone, not choose the clients you serve best

FAQ

Questions you might be asking

I'm not a business person. Is this for me?

Yes. The program is written for therapists, not for business people. The modules start from work you already know: the consultation, the session, and the client relationship. Phase 1 begins with the way you already work and helps you put it into words.

Is this about becoming more "salesy"?

Not at all. You learn to explain your work the way clients understand it: the result you help them reach and the steps that get them there. The aim is a way to talk about your offer that feels natural. Your values stay the same.

How much time does this take?

Each lesson video runs about 3 to 11 minutes, and most modules add an implementation video and a workbook. Plan time each week to apply the lessons to your own practice, and post your check-in every Monday.

I'm already seeing clients. Is this still relevant?

Yes. Much of Phase 2 is practised with the clients you have now: you fit the Session Spine to individual clients, place current clients on the Dosage Ladder, script your recommendations, and prepare for their objections.

What support do I get when I'm stuck?

Post your question in Ask the Facilitator. Questions are answered within 48 hours on business days. You can also bring it to a live group or hot seat session. Session dates are announced inside the community.

Can I talk about my clients in the community?

Only with every identifying detail removed. The community guidelines do not allow a client's name, story, or any detail that could identify them. That includes screenshots, session notes, intake forms, and case examples.

What happens at the end of the 12 weeks?

You submit your Business Blueprint: your work from all three phases, in one document. The facilitator reviews every Blueprint personally and gives feedback within 7 business days. Once it is approved, you graduate and join the Alumni Lounge and the Business Directory, a private network of graduates for peer referrals and collaboration.
